Democratic Committee
The Henniker Democratic Committee provides information to our Democratic neighbors about issues that affect their lives.
We provide support to our local and State representatives to advance the planning and policies that affect us all.
We promote civic participation as the critical element in the strengthening of our democratic principles.
Officers

Chair
• Chairperson for the Henniker Democratic Committee, overseeing the work of the Committee and its Officers, maintaining Committee records, and ensuring the Committees’ compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Received his MSW degree in 1976 and has worked in administration and direct practice in the fields of juvenile justice, individual/family therapy, and in providing services/supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
• Foundational value that guides John's life is the use of his time and talents in the support of the wellbeing of others.
• For the past three of his five years in Henniker, John has served as a Ballot Clerk.

Vice Chair
• Vice Chair for the Henniker Democratic Committee.
• Undergraduate degree in an art field; graduate degree in human relations.
• Foundational values that guide Elise's life include democratic and civic values and volunteering in events that support our community.
• Over the past many years, served on various boards and held officer positions for non-profit organizations including White Wing School, American Red Cross, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, church, and area swim team; has led multiple special events and fundraisers. Currently volunteers with Henniker Food Pantry, Henniker Lions Club, and New Life Thrift Shop.

Treasurer
• Party Treasurer for the Henniker Democratic Committee; track and report income and expenses; pay amounts approved by Party.
• Retired investment advisor.
• Foundational values that guide David's life include human equality and equal opportunity; helping the poor and oppressed; keeping the private sector competitive and transparent; helping the world with true liberty and democracy.
• Achieved election to NH House of Representatives after living in the district less than ten years. Provided safe home for battered woman and her child until secret shelter could take her in. Created 501(c)(3) auxiliary organization for local Rotary Club. Helped raise $20,000 for local Quaker Meetinghouse’s project to become 100% net carbon neutral. ; Chair of the Local Rotary Club Finance Committee and of the Concord Friends Meeting (Quakers) Finance Committee.

Secretary
• Secretary for the Henniker Democratic Committee, nominated by State Representative Tony Caplan.
• Behavioral Science degree with 40+ years in healthcare.
• Foundational values that guide Karol's life include equality and social justice for all; active with Climate Change.
• Volunteers with Henniker Lions Club, New Life Thrift Shop, and various activities with the Congregational Church of Henniker. Helps people - especially those with limited income and those living with disabilities - learn about helpful resources and understand their healthcare benefits .
